
Meet Micaela
Zealous advocate for public sector clients both inside and outside the courtroom.
Micaela Brinsley has extensive litigation experience in both the state and federal forums. Before joining Attolles Law in January 2026, Micaela Brinsley worked at a prominent insurance defense firm in Milwaukee where she practiced civil defense litigation and successfully defended individuals, corporations, insurers, school districts, municipalities, and law enforcement in a broad range of areas including personal injury, coverage disputes, Wisconsin’s public records law, and civil rights litigation.
Micaela has extensive experience briefing appeals before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and has participated in oral argument before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
While in law school at Marquette University, Micaela was a winner of the 2019 Jenkins Honors Intramural Moot Court Competition and of the Franz C. Eschweiler Prize for Best Brief. Micaela also interned for Justice Rebecca Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court during her second year of law school.
